Apply Now

We encourage all artists to apply now before the May 1, 2008 deadline.

The CRAFT (Costa Rica Academy of Film & Television) Media Course offers professional instruction, use of equipment, accommodations, group travel within Costa Rica once per week, and much more. Visit the schedule to view the CRAFT Media Course itinerary.

All applicants must be 18 years of age before March 24, 2008 and have a desire to learn the fundamentals of filmmaking and editing. There is no need for previous experience in any related fields, however, students must be willing to put in long hours in the field and editing studio in order to create their own short film, news segment or documentary. Students will have the weekends free, but many may choose to work on their projects. Filmmaking is a very team-oriented art form, therefore students who do not work well with others may not fully benefit from the CRAFT Media Course. Students are responsible for obtaining a valid passport from their country in order to enter Costa Rica.

There is no application fee for the CRAFT Media Course. Course fees can be paid via check & money order. Course fees are due in full by June 01, 2008. Payment arrangements can be made by emailing us at craftmediacourse@gmail.com
